1. Essential cookies only
Juniper OS uses essential cookies only. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies, and we do not share cookie data with any third party for marketing purposes.
Because our cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the service you have explicitly requested (logging you in and keeping you authenticated), no prior consent banner is required under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
2. Cookies we set
- Supabase auth session — a secure, HTTP-only cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you logged in between page loads. Without it you would have to re-enter your password on every request.
- CSRF token — a short-lived cookie used to protect authenticated actions from cross-site request forgery attacks.
Both are strictly necessary for the Juniper OS platform to function. Neither is used to profile you or track you across other websites.
3. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time using your browser settings. Most browsers let you view the cookies a site has set, delete specific cookies, block cookies from specific domains, or block all cookies. Help pages for the most common browsers:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
If you block the Supabase auth session cookie you will not be able to log in to Juniper OS.
