Honest answers

Do I need to leave the tools I already use?

No. Works with the tools you already run — read-only first, writes only when you approve. Your CRM, storefront, and calendar stay where they are — Juniper connects to them and becomes one co-founder touchpoint over your whole stack. Inbox and WhatsApp — connect when you're ready. Augment what works. Never rip-and-replace on day one.

What does Juniper replace?

Nothing on day one. Juniper is a co-founder layer that co-designs and orchestrates your stack architecture. Over time, optional native modules may fill gaps you choose — customer records, simple pages, operational workflows — but onboarding never asks you to rip anything out.

How is this different from each tool's built-in AI?

Your inbox, CRM, and storefront each ship an assistant that only sees its own corner. Juniper sits above all of them — one memory, one voice, answers that cross platforms. "Why did last week's launch underperform?" takes all three to answer — in one conversation.

Do I need to give a credit card to start?

Yes — Juniper OS is paid infrastructure for serious operators, not a free chat tool. You pick Start (£147/mo) or Scale (£349/mo, recommended for running operations) at Launch checkout. Cancel any time; paid tiers include a 90-day refund if you don't have a paying customer.

What's the 90-day refund promise?

On any paid tier: complete 10 of the 12 milestones on the Founder Path during your first 90 days, and if you do not have a paying customer in that window, we refund every penny — no questions, no service-recovery talk. The promise applies once, on first sign-up. No catch — we want skin in the game.

What does the AI co-founder actually do?

The Cofounder is the singular voice you talk to. It handles finance, operations, marketing and more — behind one voice — and drafts, decides, and executes on your behalf within authority gates you set. Every material action (sending comms, signing contracts, deleting data) requires your approval. Everything else just gets done.

What does Cofounder NOT do?

Anything above your configured threshold without explicit approval. Anything regulatory (legal advice, compliance filings, GDPR responses) without you in the loop. It also won't pretend to be a human in customer comms — every email and chat clearly identifies as AI-drafted unless you explicitly approve a fully-AI flow.

Where's my data?

UK data residency. Stored in Supabase eu-west-2. Encrypted at rest with AES-256, in transit with TLS 1.3. Customer data is fully tenant-isolated by Postgres Row-Level Security — we cannot see another customer's data, and an attacker compromising one tenant cannot reach yours. Audit-log every agent action; you can export everything we have on you in one click via GDPR Export.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Two windows. First: a 30-day grace period where you can change your mind — your data is preserved, no charges, you can re-activate. After 30 days, we hard-delete: every customer record, every transaction, every conversation. Auditable; the deletion is logged immutably so you have proof. We send a download bundle of your data before the hard-delete.

Is this safe to use on a real business?

It's the business we run our own holding company on, day to day, not just a demo product. We dog-food it. That said: our public alpha is intentionally small. We onboard one or two customers a week, manually, so we can solve problems in real time. If you want this on a serious operation, talk to Elliot before you start — we will tell you honestly whether you should wait.
